Through these long-term agreements, our business model is confirmed, and it’s a testament to the value our clients see in offering high-quality, hyper-locally grown produce to their consumers. Each year, our partners will be able to offer 35 tons of fresh produce directly on-site, with zero transport. This provides a significant environmental benefit while simultaneously enhancing their offering to end consumers – making a difference for both the climate and the customer experience.
Our Partners Who Have Extended Their Contracts:
Fotografiska Stockholm, 3 years
Fotografiska has been a pioneering client and is Swegreen’s first restaurant partner. Since September 2021, we have been delivering leafy greens, herbs, and spices directly to their restaurant, where they are used to create unique and flavorful dishes. The cultivation at Fotografiska is also more manual than at our other facilities, allowing room for innovation. Here, we grow everything from classic leafy greens to more unusual crops like kale, chili, and edible flowers – providing the chefs with new opportunities to develop their offerings. The three-year extension confirms that our solution contributes to their sustainability goals and provides a powerful experience for their visitors.
ICA Focus Göteborg, 5 years
ICA Focus in Gothenburg was our first major unit and has been an important part of Swegreen's journey since the collaboration began in July 2020. Our largest facility model, Freja, is based there and has successfully produced over 400,000 plants for consumers in the Gothenburg area. The extension of the agreement for an additional five years is a clear signal of ICA Focus's confidence in Swegreen and our long-term capacity to deliver a stable, high-quality production solution. ICA Focus has become a significant player in hyper-local cultivation, and we are proud to continue this journey together.
ICA Maxi Stenhagen Uppsala, 5 years
As part of our expansion, ICA Maxi Stenhagen in Uppsala has been a central partner. The extension of their agreement for five years marks an important step forward and reflects our shared commitment to strengthen locally produced, sustainable solutions for a broader consumer market. Through this long-term partnership, we can continue to provide fresh produce directly to consumers in Uppsala, which is a key part of ICA's strategy to reduce transport emissions and provide locally produced food.
An Important Step for Swegreen's Growth Journey
These extensions confirm our focus on delivering quality and added value to our clients. By continuing to work closely with these established partners, we are taking further steps toward our goal of offering sustainable solutions for hyper-local cultivation to more players and markets. The trust of our clients provides us with both motivation and the opportunity to further develop our technology and services.
We look forward to strengthening our relationships with Fotografiska, ICA Focus, and ICA Maxi Stenhagen and continuing to work together to offer sustainable, locally produced, high-quality crops to their customers.
